What? The British winning sporting events?
We love China. We love the awesome intro cartoon. We love the fact that an ex-BluePeter presenter is calling the gymnastics. It all helps that we’re doing rather well - particularly when we’ve got a team of about 313, versus America and China with well over six hundred athletes apiece. Goodness knows what’ll happen in London, but for the time being we love our swimmers, rowers, and people wealthy enough to race yachts.

Shamefully late with these. No excuse apart from real life, which is frankly far too boring to relate here.
It was something of an experiment to do a running theme over few cartoons - I’m not at all convinced that it worked, so most likely we’ll be going back to the single-cell sketches in future until such time as the grass seems greener again. It’s all experimentation and practice, so it can only be good. ~Em
Why hello there, after much prodding I have been convinced to make a blog post. We have just about settled on a design for the website and even our technical bits and pieces appear to be working! Over the next few days I will be attempting to incorporate some more of those social networking buttons and gadgets etc to make us a bit more linkable and hopefully bring in some more viewers from far and wide.
In the mean time, I hope you enjoy Em’s drawings! And buy a Zencat mug (it gives us a bit of beer money to keep going)

Quick update re the Zencat store
There’s a possibility that I’ll get my wrist slapped here, firstly for linking to the store in the wrong place and without a pretty button; secondly for linking to it at all before it’s finished; and thirdly for being sad enough to be on Wordpress at about 9am, despite having spent five hours on it yesterday and swearing blind that I didn’t want to see a whiff of anything remotely Zencat for at least a week. But there you go - my urge to procrastinate is strong, and Zencat is the next stop after hotmail.
Anyway, take a lookat the store! We’ve got PETBOWLS, people! Quickly, before my wrist is slapped and it goes away! I’m excited anyway. It’ll only get bigger and better - and if you’re feeling too lazy to click then I’ll just tell you all about it here and you can visualise the whole online shopping experience (*zen*).
In other news, methinks Tim needs to be persuaded to post on this here blog. Any friends of his drifting over from Facebook should tell him as much - prize for anyone who leaves a comment to that effect, Facebook or no.

Ooh, aah, isn’t it shiny?
We somehow managed to knacker the old theme - so now Zencat goes ComicPress. It’s all looking rather lovely, no? We’re particularly smug about the new archive, which actually works. Still a few bugs in the system, but it’ll all be working like a finely tuned machine soon. Like something off TopGear probably. Like, a Lamborghini Gallardo LP560. Like, totally dude.
